Our group has chosen Jorja Smith’s Blue Lights because the song strongly focuses on the real experiences of young people in the UK under policing, fear, and social pressure. It reveals how youth crime is connected to social inequality and deeper structural conditions, which fits really well with the reflective part of our theme.
